| Here is another view of the Baldwin 4-8-2 Mountain type locomotive built in March of 1923 as SLSF #1503. The "streamlined" side boards were added in March of 1938. One online source states "Throughout their careers, the 1500s were well liked by engine crews, dispatchers, and the motive power department.
