| The day prior to when I took this trip I was in Cincinnati with a buddy when I was scrolling on Facebook. The Wheeling transfer job to the IORY in Lima was utilizing BOTH DRGW Tunnel Motors, and with the following day off, I knew I couldnt pass up on something so spectacular, as both units had never been paired together on a train to Lima in some time. The following morning, I woke up early and made the drive to Lima. Since the crew had gotten in late the day before, they would not be coming on duty until later in the day, which gave me the opportunity to grab some other trains around town. When I approached Lima, the scanner came to life giving me a heads up to a southbound CSX M209. I went down to DT&I Junction to grab it coming by the CPLs. A lot of morning shadows still covered the tracks here, but I did what I could. |
