NSs OCS was bound for Cincinnati yesterday morning, and was supposed to run via Columbus. But due to a crew shortage, the train ended up spending the night in Bellevue, and was recrewed with a Bellevue-Fort Wayne crew early this morning, which meant it would be running to Cincinnati via the NCD. In all honesty, if it would not have been for the OCS, we probably would have went directly to the Chicago Line. But, even though it no longer features the F units, seeing the OCS is still pretty cool. We made it to Bluffton and grabbed it coming by the grain elevator at South Street. I do wish theyd give these SD60Es a different paint job at least. |
