F40 and Bombardiers Inbound         
Caltrain 900 leads a set of Bombardier coaches through the throat tracks at Diridon. 900 is the first of Caltrains fleet of F40PH-2s, and was built by EMD in 1985. This unit and 14 others were rebuilt by Alstom in 1999 with Caterpillar HEP systems. This set of deadhead equipment will move to Tamien station south of here, where it will become train #685 for its northbound journey to San Francisco
