| UP 4866 is the second unit on an eastbound manifest freight departing Roseville. 4866, an SD70M, was one of 1000 units ordered by Union Pacific in 2000, an order which was soon expanded to include over 1400 units. To construct this many locomotives, EMD constructed various batches of units at three locations; London, Ontario, Sahagun, Mexico, and Glenville, New York. 4866 was built in Mexico, one of 150 such units built over the course of 8 months in 2002. |
