UP's Plummer turn at Manito. This is the junction between the former Milwaukee Road line from Plummer Junction (to the left), and the UP's line from Spokane to Wallace ID on the right, now cut back to Fairfield, WA. In 1954, this location saw three passenger trains each way a day - Milwaukee Nos. 15 & 16, the Olympian Hiawatha; Milwaukee Nos. 17 & 18, the Columbian, and UP Nos. 67 & 68, which ran between Spokane and Wallace, ID.
