Portraits 2. Here is a diesel locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, on 7 August 1966. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2602, a GF-25 built by General Electric as number "2502" in August of 1962, rated at 2,500 horsepower, and renumbered "2602" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #3515, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD as PRR number "9644-B" during March of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, renumbered "3515" in preparation for the merger, and retired in August of 1967.
