Mann. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Marysville, Pennsylvania, c. 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6898, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1926 and retired in December of 1955 after 29 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a mixed-cargo freight train out of Altoona and will soon enter the Enola Yards. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
