Kevin Murray General Were the engineer & fireman in different areas? 3/4/2021 7:56:05 PM
Justin May General Kevin Murray, yes, 592 was built to burn anthracite coal and the firebox was too wide for the engineer to see beyond it. The engineer was in the cab over the drivers and the fireman would be shoveling like hell under the canopy by the tender. 1/12/2022 10:54:53 PM
