Elmira. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Sodus Point, New York, on 1 July 1956. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4231 and #4268. Both are I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapods" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #4231 was constructed as an I-1S during June of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in August of 1943, and retired in October of 1959. #4268 was built as an I-1S during July of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in August of 1934, and retired in October of 1959.
