On rare occasions you can catch a stack train on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. Generally the containers are empty, as they are re-positioning them around the system or in this case headed to be loaded with grain. On this day I found BNSF 5165 leading a "baretable", from Memphis, TN to Fremont, NE, north on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. in Machens, Mo. Symbol: B-MEMFRE4 02A Supposedly headed to Fremont to be loaded with grain. Not sure if they just stand the container on the end and pour in the grain or if they are loaded with stacked bags on pallets. Either way, I was glad to finally nab one of these moves along the line. - Hi-Res: https://flic.kr/p/RQ8A8J |
