NH 4-6-2 #1372 - New York, New Haven & Hartford         
An historic photo taken by C.L. Clarke of the New Haven 4-6-2 #1372 before its "First Farewell to Steam" run. A note on the back of the photo states " Last Steam Train on New Haven - at South Station ready to leave. 4/27/52 Same location as no. 211 and same specifications except for weight of 287,000#. #1372 carries white for this special run." Specs - class I-4-e, 200 psi boiler pressure, 79" drivers, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 287,500.
