Photo Caption: "This Pennsylvania Railroad engine was one of the many built around the turn of the 20th Century." Shown here is PRR engine #3396, the HH-1S (2-8-8-2) "Compound" built by the American Locomotive Company during September of 1911 and retired in April of 1928 after just 17 years of revenue service. |
