| Nice example of a Baldwin 2-8-0 Consolidation built in 1912 as it sits in the yard. Note on back says it was scrapped in September of 1937, just a little over a year after this photo was taken. Specs - H-1 class, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 170,000 lb, tractive effort of 36,827 lb. Unknown photographer. |
