WCF&N 100
Waterloo Cedar Falls & Northern 100 at Moravia, Iowa on August 29, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 100 was built in 1914 by the McGuire Cummings Manufacturing Company as an open platform (the end pictured) parlor buffet with motors but no controls, so it was trained with a 140 series car leading. Around 1918, coach seats replaced the parlor seats, and around 1928 a baggage section and controls were added and the open platform was enclosed. In 1956 car 100 was donated to the Iowa Chapter of the NRHS. The car was transfered to the Iowa Terminal in 1966 and destroyed in a car barn fire in 1967.
