Mar 19, 2006 - CSX 6489 and unknown slug
This set will be used for tonights F784 from Greenville toward Belton. Neat to see the YN3 make it on a GP30...even if it is a slug.

Generally in the evenings, I want to say around 6 or so, but it depends on how late F790 gets into Greenville in the afternoons. For a while that train was going on the law (I don't know how, they only run to Spartanburg and back to Greenville), causing them to get to Greenville really late and F784 a late start. Anyway, F784 should be a daylight afternoon train once daylight savings time gets back hopefully. Just keep tuned to 160.370 and 161.100 on the scanner for F784 in the White Horse block a lot of the time, I don't know how often they wonder further south.

The coal train, as most coal trains anywhere in the country, runs about whenever. It mostly seems to be nocturnal when the locals are gone, but it varies a lot, I see it in daylight a lot too.
