This unit was built in May 1979 for Santa Fe, sold to Conrail for lease service, became HGZX/HLCX 560, then rebuilt for UP as C36M 577. After only a few years on the Union Pacific roster this unit was released and headed to South America and can been seen working as MRSL 3870. |
