The loaded Mill Creek coal train climbs Millwood Hill with the "radio units" (mother and slug 2117/2120) grinding hard in notch 8 on the rear end. There were three more mother/slug sets on the head end and the four combined produced quite a magnificent sound during the 20 minutes I sat at Millwood listening to them climb the grade. By the time the rear end passed by me LG2 had tackled the worst part of the hill and was picking up speed. |
