| The trackwork in Fullerton, California, has gotten more complex! Along with the triple track mainline (which ends here, with the left main continuing on to Chicago, and the right main heading south to San Diego, with the middle main splitting to each), there is a new track on the far right for the upcoming Metrolink service between Fullerton and Laguna Niguel / Mission Viejo. This stub end track, complete with a short passing siding, joins the line to San Diego about a quarter mile after rounding this curve.
