MP GP38 2007
Missouri Pacific 2007 was one of only six GP38's on the railroad. In this view at Avondale Yard, it incorrectly wears a SCREAMING EAGLE logo, as this was only suppose to be used on turbocharged units.

Ben Scanlon General Doubt the date given here, given presence of footboards, that version of the MP buzzsaw, & a shot on Fallen Flags shows 2007 in MP yellow in Aug '85. This photo is probably before 1977. 12/1/2021 8:03:07 AM
Michael Palmieri General The correct date is 22 December 1974. 12/1/2021 1:28:41 PM
Mark Carron General I agree Mike. I have a picture of 2007 taken on February 13, 1977 by J. Harlen Wilson at N. Little Rock. The angle is almost the same as in your picture and it looks identical to the picture that you took. I also have a picture of 2007 taken by myself on October 22, 1977 at Mopac's Chouteau Shop in St. Louis. By that time (only 8 months later) it had been converted to paper air filters and the Blomberg B trucks had been changed out for Blomberg M trucks. 4/17/2022 7:10:40 PM
