Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Englewood, Illinois, on 3 September 1949. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6975, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works during September of 1926 and retired in March of 1950 after 24 years of faithful service.
