Engine House
The diesel shop at Lafayette contained a pair of rebuilt NW2's, the 1316 and 1308; while a third unit, the 1326, sat outside. At this time, most of the switchers here were rebuilt 1200-horsepower EMD's.

It's eerie how much this building looks like the engine house in Beaumont Texas where I grew up.
