| UP (MP) train CH pauses in the Monroe yard on its way from Chicago to Houston. At that time, the route from Little Rock through Monroe and Alexandria was used as a alternate route to and from south Texas. In addition to UP C30-7 2406, the train also has yellow MP SD40-2 3298 and blue MP SD40 3063 -- a typical mix of power from that era.
