I found out that this engine actually was used in my hometown city of Ontario, CA before it was moved here!

According to EMD files this is a GP7 built for ATSF. It wore two #s, 2697 and 2138.

This is an ATSF GP7 rebuilt into a GP7u. It was built as ATSF 2697 on 5/51, builders #13208, Frame #5081-15. It was rebuilt by ATSF to GP7u in 10/78. It went to BNSF as #1338 and on to WEMX #1338.
