| This is looking west, & I'm standing approximately where the old EL/B&O crossover was. (with movable frogs from what I understand-would love to see any photos of these!) The old EL line west to Marion went between where the 2 lines of trees are directly ahead, & my fiance is standing. The tower used to stand right next to the old line pole directly to the right of the trees. The line going off to the right is the old CL&W to Cleveland, used a few times a day still. The hoppers are on a team track, & unloaded by trucks for an offline industry. What I wouldn't give to be here back in the day when this was still a busy crossover! |
