A Switching We Will Go Editors Pick!
This EARY train, seen in Sylacauga, AL, is seen switching on the West end of town behind Wendy's. This is on the old southern-most leg of the L&N Mineral Belt Line that went from Gadsden, AL down through Anniston, Talladega, Sylacauga and then swung West over to Calera where it met up with the S&NA Line. Now, this line only runs between Gantts Jct. just West of downtown Sylacauga up to Bemiston just outside (South) of Talladega. Interchange partners are NS in Sylacauga and CSX in Talladega.
