| While waiting at the BNSF/CP crossover in St. Louis Park this day, I saw first one piece of MOW equipment, a BNSF truck (driving beside the tracks, not on them) and another piece of MOW equipment pass by me heading west. Which I was uninterested in photographing. When this MOW job appeared running west caboose-forward, though, it was time to break out the camera! The crewman lounging on the 11770 returned my friendly wave after I got my shot. I fondly remember these BN hacks from when I was a kid growing up in the 1980's. When they were last in use for revenue service before being bumped to locals and MOW duty. |
