BN modernized heavyweight business car #A7/#800082 KOOTENAI RIVER (2nd). Built by AC&F in 1912 as Frisco 62 seat coach #1089, rebuilt in 1942 to 40 seat diner #648, rebuilt in 1950 to business car #2 (1st), later to #4 (2nd), later to SPRINGFIELD, later back to #4, later to #3, to BN via merger as #A7/#800082 CANADIAN RIVER (1st), later swapped names with #A8/#800142 (former GN #A28/#A4), becoming the KOOTENAI RIVER (2nd), now BNSF research & test car #82/#800082 KOOTENAI RIVER. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide.
