Description:  Nice example of a 1924 Alco-Schenectady built 2-8-2 Mikado for the Lehigh Valley. Specs - N-5B class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x32" cylinders, engine weight of 325,900 lb, tractive effort of 62,949 lb. The design obviously suited the LV as all of these engines stayed in service until the end of steam. The photo was taken by an unknown photographer.
