Shown here is Long Island Rail Road engine #7766, an E-7S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata as a Pennsylvania Railroad E-2B during October of 1907, rebuilt as an E-7S in June of 1916, and retired in April of 1937 after 30 years of faithful service. Here is an original photo by Rod Dirkes. Shown here is Long Island Rail Road engine #9820, an E-7S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata for the Pennsylvania Railroad as E-2B number "7485" in 1906, rebuilt in Juniata as E-7S number "9820" in March of 1917, and retired in May of 1939 after 33 years of faithful service.
