Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4339 and #1454. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #4339 was built as EFP-15 number "9839" in April of 1952 and renumbered "4339" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. #1454 was constructed as EF-15 number "9667" in March of 1949 and renumbered "1454" for the merger.
