Engine #3768 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1920, streamlined in 1936, and retired in October of 1953. Engine #4996 is an E-3B built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton and Westinghouse during June of 1951 and retired in June of 1965. Here is page 12 of a 15-page cover article by Frederick Westing entitled "This Is The Story Of A Pacific ~ The World's Greatest." It was published originally in the August 1956 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 55. Both of the locomotives in the top two photos are PRR Class K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" that were built in Juniata. Top Photo: #5399 was built in August of 1924, rebuilt with oscillating cams by Lima Locomotive Works in 1939, and retired in November of 1953.
