Here are 40 portraits of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives. All of them come from 2.75" x 4.50" photos that I purchased in a single eBay auction conducted by Mr. Nathan Dahms on Thursday, 04 March 2021. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), the date, and the location are cited when available.

Portraits 5. Here is a steam locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1949. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #337, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as an H-8B during December of 1908, rebuilt as an H-9S in November of 1926, and retired in January of 1950 after 42 years of faithful service.
