Description:  Since flooding has halted most traffic for the BNSF in Missouri; this Rush Island (UCEX) coal load is parked in the siding until the BNSF River Sub. is passable to the Ameren Plant in Festus, Mo. Seen here holding down the siding is a pair of BNSF ACes, 9183 & 8790, as they sit in Elsberry, Mo. under a clear sky on the BNSF Hannibal Sub.

Title:  Gray Of The Night
Description:  KCS 4614 works as DPU while also suppling air to the other half of this UCEX coal load, as the train is broken across a crossing in town. Working with very little light on the north end of town, this was a great challenge to capture. Would have made for a better image had the unit been nose out. BNSF Hannibal Sub. - Elsberry, Mo.
