Viewing Album:  Chicago Trip (14th-16th)

Album Info:I went down to Chicago late on the 13th, with the trip focusing primarily on the CSX, my favorite Class 1 railroad, and one that I've never beem able to witness on home rails. Other focus points included the IHB and possibly some Iowa Interstate movements. These would be met, and many more unexpected surprises thrown in to make this trip a success. Also included are shots in Western Indiana on the NM and CSX, along with shots in Janesville, Wisconsin on the way back home. Hopefully you will enjoy this album as much as I enjoyee the trip!

Description:  After waiting on "Mount Dolton" for about a half hour with nothing in sight, I find this guy coming down the old Mopac. New to the area, I figured he would head straight through and over the diamonds. Wrong, so I protected my camera and ran blindly through brush and other strange things to get this shot. Funny to watch I'd bet, but there was an SD50 trailing, so you have to do what you have to do.

Description:  A pair of GP15T's surprise me,so I had to do with what I was dealt. With no room, I had to use the signal box as something, so atleast it has an address. People in the part of town really don't care about trains, as a lady walked right in front of this train, only getting off the tracks by about 10 or so feet before these guys came through. She didn't even walk faster, just a casual walk. She later continued down the middle of the street like she owned the place. People!
